Hi. This is Mike Crow, and I run home inspection business.

Speaker:

In fact, I've run a couple of home inspection businesses.

Speaker:

You know, true joy for me, though, has been helping literally

Speaker:

thousands of home inspectors build really solid home inspection business as well.

Speaker:

We can help a single man operation be able to do over $300,000 a year,

Speaker:

maybe all the way up to $400,000 a year as a single inspector operation.

Speaker:

Even better for me is the 80 plus companies that we have helped

Speaker:

be able to build million dollar home inspection businesses.

Speaker:

I would like to help you be able to do the same thing

Speaker:

today.

Speaker:

So here's the secret

Speaker:

implementation is the key to success

Speaker:

You should write that word down

Speaker:

at the top of your page implementation

Speaker:

because one of the biggest mistakes people get when they come here

Speaker:

is they think they're coming for more information

Speaker:

and you're going to get some incredible information

Speaker:

but the information is not the secret.

Speaker:

The secret is implementation.

Speaker:

You've got to learn to stay focused on doing it.

Speaker:

So you'll learn this week how to make that happen more.

Speaker:

So here's some thoughts from the book. I dare you.

Speaker:

I dare you to play bigger.

Speaker:

The biggest secret of successful people, No.

Speaker:

One is that they help other people.

Speaker:

The reason this community succeeds and just continues to grow.

Speaker:

The reason that happens is because they help other people

Speaker:

and they thrive by giving their experience to other people.

Speaker:

So one of your most valuable possessions

Speaker:

are those which can be shared without lessening you.

Speaker:

In fact, when you share it, it actually multiplies you.

Speaker:

It helps take you to the whole next level.

Speaker:

So one

Speaker:

of the other big things is one of the priceless few.

Speaker:

You have to basically start your own little crusade.

Speaker:

What is your why?

Speaker:

What makes you tick?

Speaker:

And I will tell you that if you're why is more than just your family.

Speaker:

If you're why includes other people

Speaker:

helping other people succeed,

Speaker:

you become more powerful.

Speaker:

It's one of the biggest secrets out there.

Speaker:

So why once you dare you stop kind of drifting with the crowd.

Speaker:

And there's something I want to share with you real quick, something that has been

Speaker:

discovered in this book, and you'll see it more as well.

Speaker:

But there's something I'm I'm calling the 95%

Speaker:

problem, the 95% problem.

Speaker:

So what you'll find is that

Speaker:

95% of people

Speaker:

are right here.

Speaker:

Now, some of you right now are in that 95%

Speaker:

This is the crowd

Speaker:

I actually told some of our people because we had about 30 members

Speaker:

show up in inspection world

Speaker:

and I had breakfast with them and I told them, I said,

Speaker:

you were surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of home inspectors.

Speaker:

They had a great show.

Speaker:

They did a lot of wonderful people there.

Speaker:

I said, But you have one major problem.

Speaker:

This is the 95% and you're going to ask people, Should I do this?

Speaker:

Should I do that?

Speaker:

And they're going to tell you, No, don't be silly.

Speaker:

Don't waste your money on that.

Speaker:

See, the problem is you can say no, 95 times before you get to the right people

Speaker:

that are building really solid companies to actually say, don't do that.

Speaker:

Here's the challenge

Speaker:

It's easy

Speaker:

to stay here, and it's uphill

Speaker:

to get to be the four percenters

Speaker:

and the one percenters.

Speaker:

It's uphill.

Speaker:

Which way do you think people travel?

Speaker:

Naturally.

Speaker:

Do they travel naturally?

Speaker:

Uphill or downhill?

Speaker:

Do you want to be going downhill or uphill?

Speaker:

See, this sounds sounds silly, right?

Speaker:

I just asked you a question in your brain said downhill

Speaker:

You cannot let your brain control you.

Speaker:

You have to tell your brain, no,

Speaker:

we're going uphill Do you understand that?

Speaker:

Because your brain wants you to take the easy route.

Speaker:

And I'll tell you why you're the second.

Speaker:

So multiply your daring by 100 fold by sharing its fruits with other people.

Speaker:

This is important.

Speaker:

This might be one of those, right?

Speaker:

Or downers.

Speaker:

I want you to take a few notes, because I'm going to tell you.

Speaker:

Take a notes Puts it in the brain differently.

Speaker:

And I'm trying to point out like this one, you probably should write this one down.

Speaker:

So the line of least resistance makes crooked rivers and crooked men

Speaker:

Do you get that? The least resistance

Speaker:

creates crooked men and crooked rivers.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Old wives require basically no effort

Speaker:

Now, I want you to be your best all the time.

Speaker:

But as I went to every meeting last night, one of the things I said was,

Speaker:

I want you to have your best year every year

Speaker:

moving forward.

Speaker:

Anybody have a problem with that?

Speaker:

Of course not.

Speaker:

But is that uphill or downhill?

Speaker:

It's uphill and you'll be surprised at some point

Speaker:

if I'm sitting on that motorcycle and I'm in I'm pointing downhill

Speaker:

and I turn the engine off at some point I'm sliding downhill.

Speaker:

I have to give it power and I have to be pointed

Speaker:

in the right direction because it does not have reverse on it.

Speaker:

I have to be pointed in the right direction before I can go up.

Speaker:

And heaven help you if you have no power behind it

Speaker:

and you're trying to push it uphill by yourself.

Speaker:

You should have seen this trying to get it on the stage last night.

Speaker:

So you have to face problems aggressively.

Speaker:

And when you face them aggressively, they're half solved.

Speaker:

So how to dare?

Speaker:

In a moment.

Speaker:

Right now it's necessary to agree that living aggressively changes everything.

Speaker:

How many of you are willing to admit right now you have to push uphill?

Speaker:

If you want to succeed, how many of you are in with that?

Speaker:

The rest of the world is going to tell you the opposite.

Speaker:

The 95% are going to tell you.

Speaker:

You don't have to do that.

Speaker:

Don't fall into that trap.

Speaker:

So I'm daring you to think bigger, dark, bigger, and be bigger.

Speaker:

I'm promise you want a richer life and a more exciting life.

Speaker:

I loved it when Rob said up there.

Speaker:

Someone said before him, I'm not telling you it's going to be easy.

Speaker:

And then Rob says, But it will be worth it.

Speaker:

And their lives have been enriched in so many ways.

Speaker:

And they have enriched so many other people's lives

Speaker:

because they're willing to push uphill all the time.

Speaker:

Others will step aside for you because you are now a crusader

Speaker:

even better, people will want to come join you and help others as well.

Speaker:

Other people will help you when they understand

Speaker:

what you're trying to accomplish.

Speaker:

So true.

Speaker:

There's going to be moments of weakness and depression and laziness,

Speaker:

but it's time for battle.

Speaker:

So it requires it requires one really constructive

Speaker:

step forward

Speaker:

I have moments of weakness.

Speaker:

I have moments of depression.

Speaker:

And I definitely have moments of laziness.

Speaker:

Nick Hogan's Heroes.

Speaker:

Yes, I know.

Speaker:

But I want you to understand

Speaker:

that if you have the right people around you encouraging you,

Speaker:

you snap out of that.

Speaker:

There was one day I was down there just looking at the microwave

Speaker:

in our kitchen and Susan looked at me, what what's what's wrong with you?

Speaker:

And I said, you know what?

Speaker:

I am just tired of some of the bickering and the backbiting

Speaker:

that's going on in our industry.

Speaker:

And it just I'm just tired of it.

Speaker:

I'm thinking about just writing it all off.

Speaker:

And she looked at me and she said, Stop it.

Speaker:

This is your ministry.

Speaker:

Now go help people

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

when you say it that way, it kind of makes sense.

Speaker:

But I want you to understand,

Speaker:

you've got to take that one forward step, that one swift, constructive action

Speaker:

to knock you out of that that little loop sometimes that we all get in.

Speaker:

I don't want you to know I'm not immune to it. And I.
